| | On a blustery, cold Saturday in April. the Whitewater Breakfast Kiwanis club sponsored the Pellitteri Data Destruction Company for the community shredding of important documents, records, etc. Pictured is Kiwanian Steve Ryan [L] assisting resident Mary Higgins as she deposits her records in the tote. Ron Rogers of Pellitteri in the background, is ready to process the records through the truck shredder.
Those who deposited their records could observe through a monitor as the documents entered the shredder and were destroyed.
The shredded paper will be separated from the unusable material and recycled into soft paper goods.
This service to the community is only one of many projects undertaken by the Breakfast Kiwanis as part of its community service goal. |
