| | The Whitewater Breakfast Kiwanis was host Tuesday to the Circle K Lt. Governor for this district, Steve Nelson. Audrey Route of the Youth committee is shown introducing Steve for his presentation. Circle K is the university level Kiwanis club at UW-Whitewater sponsored by the Breakfast Kiwanis club. Steve is a student at UW-Whitewater whose home town is East Troy, where he was a Key Club member.
At this time Steve's district consists of just UW-Whitewater and UW-Madison but they hope to increase the numbers by chartering additional clubs in the area, possibly Edgewood College in Madison.
The Circle K district sponsors membership activities during the year, plans to charter new clubs and culminates the year with the Circle K Internation Convention in Denver in August. |
